1. Are these toothpicks safe for food?
Yes, these toothpicks are made of pure natural bamboo and all sticks were fumigated in high temperature process. Bamboo is a fast grow renewable source for making food serving gadgets for thousands of years. They are safe for skewering food.
2. Are the pearls easy to come off?
We try our best to keep the pearls sturdily glued onto the sticks. But after multiple long-distance transits, some beads might fall off. This can’t be 100% avoided for handwork products. Please avoid CHILDREN and ELDER people using them alone.
3. Can these go in the oven? Or bake with them?
No. Please do not bake, cook or grill food together with these picks in any High-Temp appliances like ovens, microwaves. Pure bamboo sticks can withstand high temperature, but the glue and decoration beads CAN NOT. They will get melt.
4. Can these toothpicks be washed? Can they be put in the dishwasher?
There are adhesives used to keep the balls stay on the sticks. They will get melt and loose in long time soaking or washing. You can simply rinse or wash the bamboo stick part if you wish or need to. Please do not put them in the dishwasher.
5. Can they be re-used?
These bamboo toothpicks are designed and intended for single use. You can recycle them in another way. Soak the skewers in water a while and then get the pearls off. It’s a good decor item for jars or for other DIY usages.
